Stationed at Jacksonville Naval Air Station in 1968. Worked the lines for the Jacksonville Rockets and teams in the EHL Southern Division. He worked the first hockey game ever in Georgia when Jacksonville played the first of six "home" games at Macon. Ned moved on to a long officiating career in the IHL. Currently retired and living in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

  Neil Moran
Started in the EHL around 1958 as a linesman for Philadelphia Rambler games. Became a full time linesman for the New York Rovers/ Long Island Ducks from 1959-1973 at the Long Island Arena. Was the linesman for the 1964-65 edition of the NY Rovers that played at Madison Square Garden on 49th St and 8th Ave. He refereed games around the league from 1965-73. Moran called over 360 min in a game at Syracuse. Reffed the "2 Minute Game" at Long Island.
