(AP) - A goal in the second period and three more in the third gave Johnstown
a 6-2 victory over Philadelphia here yesterday in an Eastern Hockey League game.
Each team scored twice in the first period then, midway through the middle stanza,
Danny O'Connor scored on a 55-foot slap shot and the Jets led, 3-2. Dick Roberge,
with one goal, and John Lumley, with a pair, boosted Johnstown's lead in the
final period. Johnstown's scoring in the first period was taken care of by Ken
Coombes and Bob Dawes. Binkey Boyce and Gordon Sampson scored for the Ramblers.
